Selling Hametz

I will be available to make arrangements for selling your hametz before Passover beginning Sunday, March 18.  You can see me after both morning and evening services, except on Shabbat, on Wednesday mornings, and on Thursday evenings.

For information about the practice of selling Hametz, please follow this link in our minyan blog.

Passover Minyans

We will follow our usual schedule of holiday minyan times during Passover.

One very important exception occurs this year, for the first time since 1998.  Passover begins on Shabbat this year.  While services on the first evening will be at our normal 6:00 start, on the second night, we cannot begin until after the end of Shabbat.  Our afternoon minyan that evening is scheduled for 8:00 p.m., and Shabbat will end at 8:47 p.m.

It is very important that we have a minyan that evening so that mourners will be able to say kaddish.  Please try to arrange your seder times for the second night so that you will be able to join us for minyan.

If you will be able to attend minyan that evening, please let me know in advance.
